Bohemian Art Nouveau Vase by Pallme König
Antique Bohemian glass is wild! This colorful vase has so much personality and movement in it.
This is a lovely example of the fine glass making in the tradition of Klostermühle. This type of glass is often identified as Czechoslovakian Jugendstil art glass and is attributed to the firm Pallme-Konig. It is blown of translucent iridized green glass with maroon/purplish veining. The top was cut when the glass was hot to create a notched collar.
This vase is not marked and has a ground pontil.
